So I figured I should probably post for those that don't know that we are having baby #2 on Februrary 9th and its a BOY and we are so excited!!!!! I think Annie is going to be a great big sister and we cannot wait until he is here! So far so good and its nice that its been busy with all the holidays to keep my mind off of being pregnant. So today I saw a really cute idea on how to make your own Rapunzel wig. We figured we would try it out since Annie is going to be Rapunzel for Halloween and this way if she didn't want to wear it we wouldn't be out any money since we had everything already. But she loves it already and I think she just looks too cute in it! Can't wait until Halloween!

The Living Planet Aquariam

So we decided to go ahead and get a pass for the aquariam so we would have lots to do this winter when we wont be able to go out. She really liked it when we went and loved just getting to run around yelling "Fishy, Fishy" over and over. Her favorite part was the stingrays which you can pet. Pretty slimy but she really likes it. They have a penguin exhibit now which was fun but kinda crowded. But I think we will have lots of fun this winter!

They have this really great kids place down the road that has little kids rides and games. Annie is a ride junkie so this is perfect for her! She really likes the carousel and they have these little jeeps that ride around a track. We figure its a great alternative to having to pay to go to Lagoon everytime she needs a ride!

For the 4th we got to just relax here at home but we had a great time. We went to IKEA since Annie has really been into trains lately and they have a little train set which works great for her. We also made some 4th of July cookies and of course deviled eggs which she really likes. And then we did some sparklers out on the deck and I think the pics turned out really cute so here you go!

Wheeler Farm

We have LOVED having the wheeler farm seriously just 5 minutes down the road from us. Annie loves to see the animals and pet them and plus its FREE which is always a plus. We have gone quite a bit with our playgroup from church but we got to take Scott there a couple times which was fun. I have to say the goats are the favorite though! She loves getting to pet them and even tries to hug them! Here's the pics:

Mainly for my sake but kinda fun I thought I would post some of Annie's favorite things from the summer so I could remember when she asks me down the road! Don't want to be caught without an answer!

Curious George and Barney, I don't know what we would do without those two! She takes them everywhere!

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs! Daddy did buy her one while we were out of town but after a night decided wasn't quite right for us! Which is ok with me until we have a backyard.

Sunglasses and her Rapunzel nightgown that Grandma bought her! She seriously woudn't let me take it off for about a month and would pull it back out around 3 o'clock in the afternoon and ask for her pjs back on! Silly girl!

Hogle Zoo

We took Annie to the Hogle Zoo for the first time at the beginning of the summer. It was lots of fun but was a little chilly when we went, hence she is wearing her jacket the whole time! They have a dinosaur exhibit up where they have a whole bunch of life size replicas of dinosaurs all over the park which was fun. She thought it was fun at first until she got sprayed with water from one and then from then on she didn't want anything to do with them. We got to see the new baby elephant which was really cute and she did really like the monkeys and tigers. Here's our pics:

Virginia Trip

So I figure better late than never right! :) So we got to visit Scott's family in Virginia at the end of April first of May and had a great time! Annie got to spend Easter there and had lots of fun collecting her eggs from the easter bunny outside ( Thanks to Scott's mom and Auntie Emily!) Also big thanks to everybody for putting up the great playset up outside and getting sunburnt while doing it but it was definatly a hit with all the kids! Then we got to go bowling, which is a favorite of Annnies, had a fun baby shower for Emily, went go-karting, got bug catchers and tried to catch butterflies outside ( Which all we ended up with was Cole catching a lady bug but thats ok) We also got to visit there neighbor chicken coop and new baby cows which was lots of fun! And we got to celebrate Grandmee birthday at Scott's Uncle Bills house with dinner and cake which it was great to get to see everybody. And over all just had a great time getting to hang out with all of Scott's family, we have such a great time everytime we go and always have such a hard time leaving!Love you guys! So this last week we got to go up to my grandpa's cabin up in Island Park for the week with my family. It was lots of fun and Annie LOVED having so much room to run around. We got to go to the IMAX in West Yellowstone and watch a movie on Lewis and Clark and Annie actually sat through the whole 45 minutes of it. She would make all the noises of the animals it showed and liked the Indians. We went for a little hike at Coffee Pot Lake and then my mom brought her a little pink pool so she got to swim on the deck. The we went to the Playmill and watched Joseph and the Technicolored Dreamcoat. It was lots of fun and Annie especially liked this one guy John Peter and every time he sang she would stop and clap. Rachel and I decided she must have had a little crush! :) On Thursday we went to Virginia City and got to walk around and see the old ghost town. And then on Friday we went to Wade Lake to play around. Annie just liked throwing rocks in the lake! And to top off the week we had a little birthday party for Annie since we will be in Arizona over her birthday. So we had lots of fun and I'm so glad that we got to go. Lots of pics, here we go:

So I know I'm SOOO behind on our blogs but we have just been having so much fun this summer and have had alot of traveling. But now that things are settling down for the end of summer I decided I wanted to change up our wreath for our front door. I really liked this pattern I saw for a yarn wreath so decided to make one and here it is!

I am loving it already! And to end with here is a cute picture of my new 2 year old, I just can't get enough of her! And I promise to have lots of pics from her birthday and our summer fun soon!

So our final trip was last weekend which was a little better since I had cried so much the week before. We had tons of fun on Saturday night becuase Todd and Amanda had taught us how to play Sequence the weekend before and killed us but then we had our revenge. We killed them and it was great! We are definatly going to miss Todd but know the next two years will go by fast!

Easter Egg Hunt

So we had to do one last easter egg hunt before Todd left so we did one a little early. I think everyone had a great time and yes we did find all 62 eggs!!! And afterwards we went to a burger place my dad had found in Blackfoot which was really good. Annie's favorite thing to eat is chicken nuggets, fries, with lots of RANCH which thankfully they had! She is really big into dipping! We thought is was our last trip to see Todd so I was of course so emotional and crying but then Scott suprised me with one more weekend!!! :)

So in April when we went up, Rachel and Trent just got a new little puppy Joey. Rachel brought him over and I think Annie died and went to heaven! March Trip

So in March it was fun becuase Todd didn't have to work as much so we played lots! My mom got her a little pony remote control car which she thought was great. This is trip was for when Todd was going through the temple and I just have to say I am so proud of him and for making the choice to go on a mission. It was so wonderful to get to see him go through the temple and was a great day. He is going to be such a great missionary! Here's the pics:

So Scott has been nice enough to part with us for about a week every month since February so that we could spend some more time with Todd before he leaves on his mission! We have had such a great time and Annie loves seeing Grandpa and Grandma and LOVES playing with the boys. So we will have quite a few posts but to start out with we went in February and got to go bowling which Annie LOVED!! She was so funny to watch and actually got a strike on her first turn and almost won the game. She also kept saying BALL over and over and over but it was really cute. Her are a few pictures:

So the other night we got to watch one of my friends little girl. I think at first Annie thought it was pretty fun. She loved sharing her pacifier and helping feed her oatmeal. We took Annie out the other day because the weather was actually decent and she had a ball playing in the snow! It's great because we have enough snow around our complex that we can just play around here and then walk right home once we get cold. She's so funny though, she just giggles and laughes while Scott pulls her around in the sled. She likes to bail out of the sled though. I have no idea why, personally I wouldn't want a face full of snow but she thinks its great!

Merry Christmas

For Christmas this year we decided to stay at home since traveling gets so crazy during the holidays. We had lots of fun with Annie since I think she kinda got the idea a little more. We missed seeing everybody but still had a nice relaxing day. She got lots of fun presents and the only bummer was we had bought a sled for her and were planning on taking her out but for once we had no snow for Christmas here. Go figure! But we have plenty now and we took her out they other day and she was giggling and had lots of fun! So here's some pics from Christmas day!

Annie just learned to jump so here is our attempt to get a shot in action. She looks so funny when she does it!

She got a new stroller from mom and dad and decided to put her ponies in it instead of her baby, silly girl! But I have to say this was a hit though, she plays with this stroller all the time.

She is in LOVE with Barney! My mom found her this Barney and gave it to her at Thanksgiving as an early Christmas gift and Barney now has to sleep with her every night and I catch her frequently dressing him in necklaces and feeding him goldfish snacks!

And she was excited to get the last of the My Little Pony bunch in her stocking!

Playset from Santa. She loves being able to have something that she can actually climb without getting in trouble for. Plus it will keep her busy during th winter when we can't go outside.

Well here is a catch up, I know its been too long since I've been on here. Just been busy with weddings, Halloween, our Anniversay, Thanksgiving, and now all the Christmas fun! Annie is been lots of fun though along the way. She is always making us laugh. She is such a silly girl! She is in LOVE with Barney now and has a Barney doll that she likes to take to bed with her now. She will even attempt to say his name which is a plus in trying to get her to speak. She can say Mommy, Daddy,hi, bye, baby, ball, waffle, Ya Ya (which is her fish's name) tickle, tickle, and dosen't say no yet but does shake her head alot when she dosen't want something. She also loves to swim and we signed up for the rec center here because they have an indoor pool and I figure that should keep her occupied for a little bit of the day. She has so much fun in the water though and will kick her feet, blow bubbles, and splashes all over the place. She is also quite the greeter and waves and says hi to EVERYONE when we go out. We are so excited for Christmas though becuase I think she will have a blast! Well here is a couple pics to catch up with:

Virginia Trip

So I've been slacking a little bit about posting about our trip to Virginia. Annie and I had a great time, just missed having Scott there though! Annie is in LOVE with her cousins Cole and Grant. She just loved to play with them and they were all so cute together. We had such a great time and can't wait untill our next trip to see everyone. I'll explain more with the pictures we took since we had lots of pictures. But I have to say we had an amazing time at the kids museum there. Annie had a ball and I think she could have stayed there forever. They had such cool ideas for all ages. Can't wait to visit that again! So here is the picture overload!

Halloween is so much fun with a one year old I just have to say! So today we decided to carve her pumpkin. Scott put a blanket on the floor and got out the garbage can and was ready to go. But Annie was NOT a fan of touchy the yucky, gooey inside of that pumpkin! She kept running away from it. So I gave her the little pumpkin that she had so she could hold that instead and of course she ran over and dropped it inside the big pumpkin. so Scott got it out and gave it back to her and then the funniest thing I have ever seen happened! Annie all of sudden starts DRY HEAVING which at first I was like, "Is she choking?" But no, it was because she was so grossed out that she had touched the goo again! HILLARIOUS! She is such a nerd! But we did have a great day and we did get some really cute pictures after her pumpkin was all carved! What a silly girl! I'll post more pics of her costume after next weekend! I'm so excited!

So I had a wonderful birthday thanks to my wonderful family! First of all, while I was on my trip with Annie to Virginia, Scott was so wonderfully sneaky and flew Emily up to help redo our kitchen cabinets which I have really been wanting to do but just wasn't sure when to do it since Annie likes to help with everything! Well she thinks she is helping! So I come home to the most wonderful suprise ever and just love my new kitchen. It looks TONS better and I have to say I have the BEST husband in the world and love him to pieces! And Emily, I couldn't ask for a sweeter sister-in-law!

Then I got a new bread maker from my in-laws which I got to try for the first time the other day and I have to say homemade bread is so heavenly! It was delicious and I can't wait to try more things with it! Pretzels are up next!

And then my parents got me President Monsons new biography which I am LOVING! He is such a wonderful prophet and I have to say has had an amazing life so far!

And then my cute little daughter got me a gift card to go to the outlets! YES! And we had a blast! So yes, this was the BEST birthday ever!

Beach Time!

So earlier in the year Scott won a free trip anywhere in the U.S. for 4 days 3 nights at a hotel and airline tickets! Crazy, huh! But we were super excited. So we decided to go to the beach with Emily and Brian which was alot of fun! Thanks for being such great guides and driving us around guys! We got to do some fun shopping, ate some yummy food (Ruby's was our favorite!) Annie liked it because they had little cardboard cars and she had her first milk shake which she loved! And then we got to take Annie to the beach which was a big hit! It was FREEZING but she just kept running out into the waves! It was too funny! And she just loved grabbing handfuls of sand. I think we will have to plan another trip to the beach sometime but maybe on the east coast where she will actually be able to get in the water since the water is so much warmer. We went in the morning and there were some surfers that had come in to rinse off when we were cleaning Annie off and they were telling her she was one tough baby to be out there! Of course the trip felt like it went too fast but we had a great time! Here's a few pics:

Annie's 1st Birthday

What a great time we had celebrating Annie's birthday! We started off with filling our living room floor with balloons the night before and then Scott got up in the morning and got a whole bunch of helium balloons for the ceiling. And off course we had to have the My Little Pony banner! The girl loves her ponies! When she came out in the morning it was priceless! She had such a great time running through the balloons. Thanks to all the grandparents and aunts and uncles for all the gifts and birthday songs, she loved them! And to top off the night we had the Pony Birthday Cake which she was SO GIRLY about and wouldn't really eat it. She would just take one finger and take a little icing and that was about it. maybe next year she will be into the cake! We are so glad to have this cute little girl in our family and can't wait to see what the next year brings with her! We love you Annie!

My Little Pony

So Annie is in LOVE with My Little Pony! It all started when she got a book my mom gave her which she would bring to me to read multiple times a day. So then we went and bought the rest of the series which she was so excited about. She will just walk around carrying them and its so cute. The other day we got on their website and played there theme song which she smiles about every time we play it now. Scott hooked up the tv to the computer so we can play it on there which she very much enjoys now. So since her birthday is coming up we found her a Pinkie Pie pony, which is her FAVORITE, and a DVD. It think she will be quite happy when her birthday finally comes. The only way we could get her to let go of it in the store was to buy her a mini pony. Scott got some pretty cute pictures of her when we got home and took it out of the box. She just hugged it and loved it! She's just so cute and we love her to death!

I can't believe my little girl is already to this stage but she is walking and loves to be a little more independent! It's so cute to see her walk around because she takes such careful, little steps but then she will get excited and try to go fast and down she goes! We have also learned you can't walk too fast without her because that will result in some tears because she can't catch up fast enough! She is such a happy little baby and we are so proud that she has reached this new step. Way to go Annie!

4th of July

We had a great time visiting my family for the 4th this year! It was especially fun since it was Annie's first one. We had lots of fun fireworks that she liked as long as they weren't too loud. Also we spent the afternoon at my Dad's family reunion which was great because we haven't seen most of my uncles/aunts/cousins since our wedding which has almost been five years. I think everyone had a good time. We got to play water balloon volleyball, had a pinata, and they had a pig cooked for the main course since we had a hawaiin theme. We had a great time and can't wait until next year!

We had so much fun going back to Virginia to see Scott's family over the memorial holiday. Annie did great on the flights and even did well on our 4 hour layover! We were so excited to have everyone there and Annie loved playing with her cousins and all the attention she got from her grandparents and aunts. So my little Annie got her first kiss at church today! It was so adorable and just made me laugh! She has a little friend named Bennett thats about two months older then her who is her little playmate at church and today she grabbed his head to give him a little kiss. Well, I think he liked it because then he gave her a kiss on the lips! Too funny! And when we told Dad he told her she was grounded but got quite a laugh out of it to. :) And the other first was Annie crawled all the way across the room today! I was so proud of her, she has been trying for awhile but finally did it. Way to go Annie! We had her 9 month check up on Friday and she did really well. She is only 16.5 lbs. so he said she was on the lighter side but it was ok for now. She will just be a petite little girl. Next check up wont be so fun though because she will start her shots then. Maybe I'll make Scott go with me because I hate to see her cry. But we are doing good and are going to Virginia on Saturday which we are very excited about so I'll have lots to post when we get back!

So for Mother's Day Scott took us up to Idaho to see my family. It was lots of fun and a great day to spend the weekend. Annie had lots of fun with her uncles. She really seems to like Ryan and would just smile when he came around. Must be because he is more her size! She really likes to play catch and we got some cute pictures with the boys playing ball with her. I think they thought she was pretty cute and funny! I have to say thanks sweetie for a great mothers day and I feel so lucky to have the best little girl ever and love her to pieces!

We had such a fun Easter this year with little Annie. It was fun to get to see her looking around for her eggs. I don't know if she was too impressed with the peeps at first but once she tried one she was really into them. She also got a cute little laptop since she LOVES when daddy is on his and always wants to be on it. Sadly she has been banned from that now though after ripping off the shift key :) But now she can play with her new pink one that sings which is much better. It was nice to have conference with Easter and we loved just getting to relax and listen to the great talks. It is always so uplifting! But here are a few more pics of Annie enjoying her Easter!

So we are starting the P90X on Monday and are hoping to look amazing when we go to Virginia in May! It's not going to be easy but we are determined to get skinny. So this weekend we are enjoying everything that we won't be able to eat for the next 90 days! And then on Monday, TURKEY BURGERS! We'll let you know how they taste and how sore we are after the first week!

Annie really loves when Scott comes home from work to play! She been lots of fun lately because she is starting to interact more. Also her new favorite thing is to grab your face and give you a big sloppy kiss! It is so cute and I can't get enough of them. So I caught her on camera in the first picture giving her daddy kisses. I'm so grateful for Scott and what a wonderful dad he is! I would be so sad not to get to spend all day with Annie but he works so hard so I don't have to leave her and I'm so grateful for that! Love you honey!

New Highchair

So Annie just got her new high chair and I think she was pretty proud of herself to have one now! She is such a cutie and I can't believe she is almost 7 months old. Time goes by so fast. She has started eating fruits such as apples, bananas, peaches, and pears. I have to say apples are the favorite. Bananas not so much but I wouldn't want to eat those nasty ones in the jar either. I'm hoping to learn how to make our own baby food soon because I think she might like that better. Also, funny story, we tried carrots today for the first time and she was liking it ok and then all of a sudden started to make a gagging noise! Guess we are going to have to work on the vegetables. This baby defiantly has a sweet tooth!

First of all, Happy New Year! I know I have been horrible at this but I told Scott this would be one of my new year goals. So we have had lots of fun this holiday season. We got to go to Arizona for Thanksgiving to be with Scott's family and then go up to Idaho for Christmas with my family. We had so much fun and I know that Annie loved all the attention from her grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She is getting so big and we have so much fun with her. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful husband that makes it so I get to stay home and play with my little Annie! I thought I would show you guys all the fun things we get to do in a day!

Blog take 2

Well we started this a while ago, but never really did anything with it. I am now going to start updating this with all the exciting things that are going on. To get everyone up-to-date, Scott just recently graduated from the U in Information Systems and has been interviewing with some companies around the Salt Lake area and as many of you probably know I am pregnant with a little girl who we will be naming Annie, my due date is August 5^th. Other than that we are just relaxing, having fun, and get ready to become parents.

Yesterday Amy and I decided that it would be fun to go to the shooting range. So we got our targets and ear protection and started shooting, after a little over 100 shots I had a thought I wonder if it is ok if she is shooting because of the boot she has to wear from her surgery, but then I thought what could happen......well with 4 bullets left in the clip she took aim and shot and the casing discharged hit the wall and bounced right into her boot, leaving her with a nice little burn. So next time your wife has surgery on her foot and has to wear a boot, don't take her shooting!!!
